Our tour tips

1. Adige cycle path: Rabland – Merano

Easy · ideal for leisure cyclists and e-bikers

• Start: Rabland, access at the railway station / Adige cycle path (approx. 2–3 km from the hotel)
• Distance: approx. 8 km to Merano
• Duration: approx. 1–1.5 hrs one way
• Elevation: minimal, mostly paved cycle paths
• Refreshments: cafés and restaurants in Merano

The route leads through the orchards of the Adige Valley – perfect for a relaxed trip to Merano. If you want to ride further, simply continue along the Adige.

2. Alpine pasture tour via Aschbach and Naturnser Alm

Moderate to challenging · mountain bike

• Start: top station of the Aschbach cable car near Rabland (valley station approx. 3–4 km from the hotel)
• Distance: approx. 31 km
• Duration: approx. 3–5 hrs, depending on variant and pace
• Elevation: approx. 765 m ascent, 1,623 m descent
• Refreshments: Tablander Alm and other staffed alpine huts along the route

A scenic tour through forests and alpine pastures. The cable car makes the start easy; the descent follows forest roads and, depending on the variant, trails – best suited to sporty riders with experience.
